Programs
meKj Hope Foundation operates five key programs to help facilitate our efforts so that all students and teachers have access to quality school supplies to learn and succeed.
School Supply Program
Our School Supply program is dedicated to providing those in need of school supplies with the tools necessary to be successful in the classroom. Through sponsorship & donations, we provide packages filled with essential school supplies or deliver bulk supplies to schools.
These supplies include technology drive supplies such as:
- Ipad Charges & Docking Stations
- Earphones w/microphones
- Stylus Pens
- Ipad Protective Cases
Komommo’s Hope Scholarship & Mentorship Program
The KHSM program supports the financial obligation of books and school supplies that come along with the financial burden of college education. The scholarship was created to eliminate the cost of books, school supplies and necessities for dormitory living.
Recipients of the scholarship receive $1,000 ($500.00 each semester for 1 school year) and are partnered with a mentor for 4 years. In addition, recipients are provided schools supplies each semester for 1 school year.
Uniform Closet Program
The uniform closet program provides uniforms to students in need of new uniforms. This program was created to eliminate student absences based on the excuse of not having proper attire to attend school.
Teachers Aid Program
The Teacher Program supplies teachers with gift cards that help alleviate costs that teachers incur for special classroom projects. This program also provides gift cards to teachers for their personal benefit to encourage and express appreciation of teacher’s dedication to their students.
Community Perspective Connection Program
The Community Perspective Connection supports the relationship of student & community. Through this program students serve the community through volunteering in areas of feeding the homeless & community cleaning projects. One of the main focus areas of this program is to support the responsibility that we all have to our communities and each other as the human race.
